Gabriel Perez

Gabriel Perez was born and raised in Aurora, Colorado and moved to North Carolina in 2004. Gabriel attended North Carolina Central University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in 2008.

In 2009, Gabriel entered the Michigan State University’s College of Law, where he was one of only a handful of Hispanic students. Gabriel was a member of the Hispanic Law Society and MSU’s LEO Program. In the spring of 2011, Gabriel was selected to spend the semester in Washington D.C. During his semester in D.C., Gabriel served as a Legal Intern to the Office of the General Counsel at the Department of Veterans Affairs. In May 2012, Gabriel graduated from Michigan State University College of Law with a Juris Doctor Degree. After graduation, Gabriel moved back to North Carolina and successfully passed the July North Carolina Bar Exam.

Gabriel joined Velasquez & Associates in October 2012, where he has a hand in almost all of the day-to-day legal operations. Gabriel’s main focuses are in the areas of Worker’s Compensation and Personal Injury; additionally, Gabriel assists in all other areas of law including traffic violation, criminal defense, and immigration law.

Gabriel makes his home in the triangle area with his wife Krystyn. He enjoys reading, going to the movies and playing golf. He is honored and blessed to work for such a great firm, which allows him the privilege of serving the Hispanic community.

Gabriel Pérez nació y se crió en Aurora, Colorado y se trasladó a Carolina del Norte en el 2004. Gabriel asistió a la Universidad Central de Carolina del Norte, donde obtuvo una Licenciatura en Ciencias Políticas en el 2008.

En el 2009, Gabriel entró en la Facultad de Derecho, donde fue uno de los pocos estudiantes hispanos de la Universidad del Estado de Michigan. Gabriel fue miembro de la Sociedad de la Ley Hispana y del programa LEO de MSU. En la primavera del 2011, Gabriel fue seleccionado para pasar un semestre en Washington D.C., donde sirvió como pasante legal a la Oficina del Abogado General en el Departamento de Asuntos de Veteranos. En mayo del 2012, Gabriel se graduó de la Escuela de Derecho de la Universidad de Michigan con un grado de Juris Doctor. Gabriel se mudó de nuevo a Carolina del Norte donde presentó exitosamente el examen que le permite ejercer derecho en Carolina del Norte.

Gabriel se unió a Velásquez & Asociados en octubre del 2012. Allí esta al pendiente de casi todas las operaciones legales del día a día. El enfoque principal de Gabriel son las áreas de compensación laboral y lesiones personales; Además, Gabriel asiste en todas las demás áreas de la ley, incluyendo violación de tráfico, defensa criminal, y la ley de inmigración.

Gabriel vive en el área del Triángulo con su esposa Krystyn. Le gusta leer, ir al cine y jugar al golf. Él es honrado y bendecido por trabajar para una firma de abogados que está haciendo una diferencia y donde tiene el privilegio de servir a la comunidad latina.[:]
